I am a graphic design 2012 graduate at The Art Institute of New York. I live in Jersey City, New Jersey. I am the first in my family to attend college. I want my nieces and nephews to be inspired to do what they love to do and make a mark in the future. I want to show them a different path they can take, another option in life they can use. I've worked in a finance department handling hospital accounts. I did that for 10 years. One day I realized I wasn't happy so I quit. I never knew that being a quitter would change my life for the better. I went straight to school to complete my degree on graphic design. I do not regret my journey because it made me the person I am today but one thing is for sure, everything happens for a reason and everything has it's time and place. I have learned to be a leader and to do what makes me happy.
I enjoy how things are made whether it's a logo, a renovated house or a professional cake. Everything has an art to it. I like the simple things with a complex thought process. My mind is like a puzzle. I'm always trying to figure something out, or solve a complex problem whether it's a design with limited resources or just a simple game of Sudoku. Thinking out the box takes you to a different level. Sometimes it just doesn't make any sense. Since my mind is always working, there are unlimited ideas and creative ways to approach anything and everything not only in the design world but in life in general. I'm ready to explore some more. Art is my passion and a desire that will go on forever.
